Supports climate friendly projects worldwide

The Praxis Intermediate Income Fund has purchased $1 million in the Swedish Export Credit Corporation’s (SEK) five-year $500 million green bond – the first green bond issued by a European export credit body. Funds from the SEK green bond will finance exports of Swedish environmental technology and expertise to support climate friendly projects around the world.

The purchase augments the Praxis Mutual Funds’ continuing commitment of financing high-impact investment opportunities.

“We are very excited to be involved in the first Swedish Export Credit Corporation green bond,” said Benjamin J. Bailey, CFA, Co-Manager of the Praxis Intermediate Income Fund and Fixed Income Manager for Everence. “We appreciate the diligence that they have put into their green program, which builds on a history of sustainable financing.”

Praxis Mutual Funds, advised by Everence Capital Management, is a leader in green bond investments. Disclosure

Bond funds will tend to experience smaller fluctuations in value than stock funds. However, investors in any bond fund should anticipate fluctuations in price, especially for longer-term issues and in environments of rising interest rates.

The Fund’s stewardship investing strategy could cause the Fund to sell or avoid securities that may subsequently perform well, and the application of social screens may cause the Fund to lag the performance of its index.

As of June 30, 2015, the Praxis Intermediate Income Fund has invested 0.23 percent of its assets in the Swedish Export Credit Corporation’s green bond. Fund holdings are subject to change. To obtain holdings as of the most previous quarter, visit praxismutualfunds.com.
