“Mark has contributed to the growth and development of Praxis Mutual Funds for 17 years, and has deep relationships across the socially responsible; faith-based; and environmental, social, and governance investment industry,” said Horning. “Combining his expertise with this new role as Director of Sales will strengthen our goal to expand Praxis services to individuals and organizations.”

As Director of Sales, Regier will focus primarily on identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities for Praxis growth in the industry, as well as providing leadership for and management of the Praxis Mutual Funds sales team.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Regier will retain his current role as Vice President of Stewardship Investing for both Everence and Praxis, directing the company’s investment screening, corporate engagement and proxy voting activities.

Since joining Everence in 1998, Regier has been involved in the field of ethical and socially responsible investing at the company, working with products and programs throughout Everence to strengthen their creative integration of faith and finances.

“Because of his extensive service to the church and background in ethics and theological studies, Mark is often tapped to provide faith-based and community investing expertise to national and international organizations,” Horning noted.

In 2014, Regier was appointed to the Board of Directors of US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, the U.S. membership organization for professionals, companies and institutions engaged in sustainable and responsible investing. He has also served as governing board chairman for the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility and was founding chairman for the International SRI Working Group (US SIF). He recently served as board chair for the Isaiah Funds (disaster recovery investments) and is a board member for Partners for the Common Good (faith-based community investments). In 2006, Regier received the SRI Service Award, the U.S. social investment industry’s highest honor.

A graduate of Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, Regier now resides in Elkhart, Indiana, with his wife, Marlene Kroeker.
