Experienced manager joins fixed income team

Christopher Woods, CFA®, joined Everence Capital Management® which advises Praxis Mutual Funds®, on Feb. 1 as Fixed Income Assistant Portfolio Manager.

Chris has been working with fixed income investment portfolios since 1983 in Columbus, Ohio, Washington, D.C., and New York City.

He most recently served as principal fixed income analyst at Interactive Data Corp. in New York, where he managed a team that evaluated commercial mortgage-backed securities and consumer asset-backed securities. Prior to IDC, he was a bond portfolio manager at MEAG, a division of Munich Reinsurance.

His diverse background in the fixed income markets will help us continue to serve our client’s needs as we provide solid, consistent performance while making a positive impact on the climate and communities,” said Benjamin Bailey, Senior Fixed Income Investment Manager.

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a CFA® charter holder. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
