GOSHEN, IN – Praxis Investment Management, Inc., a company of Everence Financial and a leading faith-based investment manager, announces a change to the benchmark index for three of the firm’s mutual funds, effective December 23:
- Praxis Growth Index Fund. The CRSP US Large Cap Growth Index replaces the S&P 500 Growth Index as the fund’s benchmark.
- Praxis Value Index Fund. The CRSP US Large Cap Value Index replaces the S&P 500 Value Index as the fund’s benchmark.
- Praxis Small Cap Index Fund. The CRSP US Small Cap Index replaces the S&P SmallCap 600 Index as the fund’s benchmark.
“These benchmark updates are consistent with our objective to provide practical investment solutions for everyday investors,” said Benjamin Bailey, CFA, Vice President of Investments. “Each of the three CRSP indexes we’re adopting has a track record of more than 10 years. We see benefits in their affordability, quarterly reconstitution schedule and historically lower annual turnover than the prior benchmarks.”
CRSP Market Indexes are provided by the Center for Research in Security Prices, an affiliate of the University of Chicago. More than $2 trillion of fund assets are currently linked to CRSP Market Indexes.
