Candace Smith
Chair, Praxis Trustees and Retired impact investing professional
Chair of the Board of Directors for Praxis Mutual Funds, Candace’s impressive 35-year career in impact investing and finance spanned the non-profit, international institutional and corporate arenas. From 2005 through her retirement in 2018, Smith held various senior roles with MicroVest Capital Management LLC. Prior to joining MicroVest, Candace advised clients such as the Inter-American Development Bank, Calvert Social Investment Foundation, and Corporacion para Financiamiento de Infraestructura, among others.
Laura Berry
Praxis Trustee and Sustainability Strategist
Laura serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee for Praxis Mutual Funds. She is also a founding board member for Majority Action (originally 50/50 Climate), Berlin-based Shareholders for Change and the Church Center for Peace and Justice. Her impressive career featured many institutional roles, including nearly a decade of service as Executive Director of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) and a 17-year career as a Large Cap Value Portfolio Manager.
Aimee Minnich
Praxis Trustee and Chief Impact Officer/General Counsel, Impact Foundation
Aimee serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Praxis Mutual Funds. She is also co-founder of Impact Foundation, where she serves as Chief Impact Officer and General Counsel. Prior to founding Impact Foundation, she served as President and General Counsel for the National Christian Foundation. Aimee also serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Miami University’s John W. Altman Center for Entrepreneurship.

Manager of Stewardship Investing Impact and Analysis for Praxis Mutual Funds and Everence Financial
With more than 15 years of experience in small business lending and non-profit development, Stella provides primary leadership for the promotion, integration and development of impact investing and reporting. Prior to joining Praxis, she was Assistant Vice President of Lending at FINANTA, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in Philadelphia. Stella has served on the board of Chariots for Hope, a non-profit supporting a network of eight children’s homes in Kenya, her country of origin.
